MINI CHALLENGE Scholarship Returns for 2026!
Following the success of the 2025 programme, Jamsport Racing is proud to bring back one of the most exciting opportunities in UK motorsport. Once again, one talented driver will win a fully-funded race season in the MINI CHALLENGE UK, competing in the JCW Sport class, a prize package worth over £100,000.
But this year, there’s a brand-new twist. For the first time ever, the winner will have the option to upgrade their prize and step straight into the main MINI CHALLENGE JCW grid — the top tier of the championship. This addition reflects Jamsport’s ongoing mission to raise the bar each year and provide the most complete, career-launching opportunity for aspiring racing drivers.
The scholarship will follow its proven three-stage format: a series of qualification days in November at Bolton Park, a semi-final in December, and a final in January at MSV Bedford. Entrants will be assessed on much more than just lap times, with evaluations in sim performance, in-car coaching, data analysis, media interviews, social media ability, fitness, and general motorsport knowledge.
Entry to the scholarship is £750 and includes a full day of assessments, coaching, and track time — plus 10% off 2026 race entry fees, a motorsport goodie bag, and access to invaluable feedback from the Jamsport team and partners.
There are prizes for the top three drivers, with discounted race packages for second and third place. But even for those who don’t make the podium, the experience offers genuine development and exposure in the professional motorsport world.
Past winners have gone on to secure full-season drives, build sponsorship relationships, and develop into well-rounded racing drivers both on and off track. The scholarship has already become a proven pathway for talent looking to break through.
