Driver Announcement - Marcel Laczycki

We are pleased to announce our first signed driver for the 2023 BRSCC Fiesta Junior Championship is Marcel Laczycki.

Marcel is one of our 2023 scholarship participants and we are delighted to have him signed for this season, he will be racing in one of our highly competitive mk6 Fiestas. Previous to our scholarship Marcel has experience racing in Senior Rotax Karting and is completely new to car racing so we’re honoured to be part of his journey.

We have already begun the intensive development Programme which includes regular sessions at our HQ on our simulators and testing at all circuits to get him ready for the start of the season. Off track Marcel will be working closely with our media team Jamsport Media aswell as undergoing our newly introduced human performance division with Maree.

Marcel has shown true maturity and determination, we are really looking forward to seeing his progression throughout the season.

Marcel is excited for the season to begin and said “I am very happy to be going into this new adventure with an experienced team like Jamsport Racing. With so many new cars and drivers in the championship it looks to be a very competitive season ahead and I am really hoping to secure some fantastic results. I cannot wait to see what this year has for us.”

Team Principle Jamie Going added- “Marcel competed in our scholarship with a minimum amount of car experience. Unfortunately he didn’t make it through to the final however he has used this to motivate himself. Marcel has taken onoard all feedback and guidance from myself and the team and is participating in our driver development programme, which focuses on every aspect of motorsport not just driving, and I believe this will be very beneficial for Marcel as he has already increased his skills since joining the team”
