Driver Announcement - Henry Howarth

We’re proud to announce that Henry Howarth will be joining the team this weekend at Silverstone.

Henry is a sixteen year old aspiring racing driver who is making his debut in the BRSCC Fiesta Junior Championship. At the age of eight, Henry began his motorsport career in indoor karting. It wasn't until last year that he graduated to outdoor owner karts and began to demonstrate good speed at Fulbeck in the Junior and later Senior Rotax classes. He also competed in Junior Rotax races at Tattershall, where he earned his maiden podium and first win.

While further karting was intended for 2023, Henry entered the JamSport Racing scholarship competition that year and beat out many more experienced competitors to place in the top 10. This is when the decision was made for him to take the step up into car racing.

He is determined to be successful and has already took park in multiple test days where he’s shown good pace.

Henry decided to focus on his education and exams so therefore missed the first half of the season, but he’s been watching from the sidelines and can’t wait to get involved. "I cannot thank JamSport and my family enough for the opportunities that they have provided to me and am eager to compete in my first race weekend in cars at Silverstone."
