Joe Wood Joins Jamsport for 2026 BRSCC Fiesta Junior Campaign
Jamsport is pleased to confirm that Joe Wood will continue his development with the team for the 2026 season as he steps up to compete in the BRSCC Fiesta Junior Championship.
Joe makes the move into Fiesta Juniors having already worked closely with Jamsport over the past few seasons, with the team supporting his development as he progressed towards circuit racing. Now, after gaining valuable experience together in the Junior Saloon Car Championship, the next step in that journey will see Joe move into one of the UK’s leading junior touring car series.
At just 15 years old, Joe brings a strong background across multiple forms of motorsport. He began racing in indoor karting at just five years old before moving into oval racing at the age of eight, where he quickly enjoyed success. In 2019 he became both the Scottish and Midlands Champion, before going on to secure the Points Championship in 2020.
He later moved into karting, competing in the Daniel Ricciardo Karting Series where he continued to develop his racecraft and technical understanding. As his focus shifted towards circuit racing, Joe began working with Jamsport Racing, completing multiple test days at Blyton Park where he gained valuable experience in car control, data analysis and race preparation ahead of making the move into junior circuit racing. Joe also successfully completed his ARDS test at the age of 14.
In 2025 Joe made his debut in circuit racing in the Junior Saloon Car Championship, where he worked closely with Jamsport throughout the season. He secured multiple top-ten finishes across the year and his attitude and professionalism both on and off track were recognised with the championship’s Respect Award. Now stepping into the Fiesta Junior Championship with Jamsport, Joe will continue his development with the team as they build on the progress made together over the past few seasons.
Team Principal Jamie Going commented: “We’re really pleased to continue working with Joe as he steps into Fiesta Juniors. We’ve been part of his journey for a few years now and have seen the progress he’s made both in testing and during his time in the JSCC. Fiesta Juniors is a fantastic platform for young drivers and we’re looking forward to continuing to support his development as he takes this next step.”
Joe added: “I’m really excited to be racing in the Fiesta Junior Championship this season with Jamsport Racing. A huge thank you to everyone supporting me along the way, your encouragement means a lot. Special thanks to Jamie Going for the continued support and driver coaching, which has been invaluable in helping me develop and prepare for the season ahead. I can’t wait to get started and see what we can achieve this year.”
Everyone at Jamsport is looking forward to continuing their work with Joe as he begins the next stage of his racing career in the Fiesta Junior Championship.
