When did you start racing and why?
My passion for Motorsport started at a very young age and I was fortunate to have a family that supported me. My father, Phil Kidsley, was a component designer for Cosworth F1 and also competed in the MSA British Hillclimb Championship for a number of years. He won numerous titles and lap records, inspiring me to get behind the wheel and follow in his footsteps. Sadly, in 1994, my Dad lost his battle to Lymphoma and I lost a massive figure in my life.
Fortunately, my older brother, Dean, shares my passion for Motorsport and through this we found the drive and focus to ignite the beginnings of my driving career.
What is your racing experience so far?
Formula Honda Champion, various wins in Caterham and, most recently, success in UK Clio Cup.
What are your hopes for the 2017 season?
In 2017 I hope to participate in the UK Clio Cup once again and push for more podiums.
What attracted you to JamSport, and what do you look forward to in terms of racing with us?
After coaching for other race teams, I came to JamSport because I saw a huge potential in its future. I joined as JamSport Racing was just getting started, and it's great to see what we've achieved since then. Hopefully I will be able to race in the UK Clio Cup this season, but if not I'll still be a part of the team, working with and getting the best out of our drivers.
What are you future ambitions?
I aim to carry on coaching my clientele, with the hopes of progressing my racing to the pinnacle of British racing, the BTCC.
