Driver Announcement- Hayden Gray

Hayden Gray driver announcement

Were pleased to announce the third driver joining our 2024 BRSCC Fiesta Junior Team is Hayden Gray.

Hayden has been around the team for the past couple of years, having competed in both our 2023 and 2024 scholarship. He was just 12 years old when he first competed in the scholarship and used it to gain experience driving a race car. Despite being the youngest competitor he was determined to impress and took away all feedback and used it to come back stronger in the 2024 scholarship.

His recent success in our 2024 scholarship has led to him joining the team for the 2024 season, Hayden finished 3rd in the scholarship and was awarded with awning space for the season, this also provides him with team mates and data analysis.

Previous to our scholarship Hayden has raced from the age of 8 in Honda Cadets and after doing well in club championships he raced in the BKC Championship, which he won, along with the GP plate.

In 2022 he also competed in the BKC championship, coming 2nd overall and winning the GP plate for a 2nd year. Hayden competed in the British Karting Championships in 2022 and came 16th overall.

Hayden is keen to get racing and said “ After performing well in the Jamsport Scholarship I was offered a place in the team which I was surprised about but very thankful. I hope to learn a lot from being part of a team and I hope my team mates enjoy me being part of the team.”

“We’re really looking forward to having Hayden on the team, I was surprised for his age he’s shown a lot of potential and that’s why I offered him a spot in the team. I’m looking forward to getting stuck in with him and seeing what we can achieve together” Team boss Jamie Going added.
