Following on from an incident and drama filled first weekend of racing in the Renault UK Clio Cup championship, it would seem there was still some more to come even after the chequered flag had been waved.
An appeal by one of the teams in the paddock sparked an investigation in to the driving standards on the circuit in the race. The conclusion of this investigation has seen two drivers given post-race time penalties, moving them further down the finishing order.
This is great news for George Jackson and JamSport Racing, as this means George’s already impressive result from his debut race in the Clio Cup has been improved on even further!
Instead of the 10th place finish he had originally achieved, the amended result actually means George finished the race in 8th place!
A massive well done once again must go to George from everyone at JamSport Racing!
